We were kindly received at Booral by James Edward Ebsworth and his wife, and by Thomas Ebsworth, at whose house a young man lately arrived in the colony, named Charles Stubbs, is at present an inmate. James Edward Ebsworth is Deputy Commissioner of the Companys affairs.....Thomas Ebsworth appears to take a considerable interest in the religious state of the people here, many of whom are prisoners, and he says there is some religious enquiry among them : we distributed some tracts at the close of the meeting.
