Details: Henry Ralston being sworn states - I was shepherd to Mr. Bingle. Some months ago I recollect being tried by Captain Pike for neglect. The last charge of neglect was about three days before I was tried. I was tried in Mr. Bingles house. I recollect seeing Mr. Bingle in the room some part of the time. I cannot say he was there during the whole time. Both my master and overseer gave me a good character. At the time I committed the last offence the overseer did not tell me he would bring me to Court, although I expected he would do so. I was sentenced to receive one hundred lashes. I was punished at Mr. Ogilvies
