Details: FATAL AND MELANCHOLY BOAT ACCIDENT, AT NEWCASTLE. THE particulars of the late fatal boat accident are related to the Newcastle Chronicle, by the survivor, John Limeburner, who was saved only by a miracle to relate the sad tale, by his indomitable pluck, presence of mind, and good swimming. The deceased, Thomas Jackson, was also a good swimmer, but was much older than his mate, who is about twenty-two years of age and a native of Newcastle......Description of the accident follows
