John Kelly per Dunvegan Castle, assigned to Col. Henry Dumaresq, charged with neglect of duty and losing his blankets and other slop clothing. Witness John Mara, sheep overseer stated - about three weeks ago I went to the station on Mussle Creek where the prisoner is employed as sheep watchman. He informed me that his bed and blankets and other clothing had been burnt. I also found the prisoner laying in his hut instead of being out with his sheep. The Bench find the prisoner guilty and sentence him to receive twenty five lashes

Note - Has been absent a long time, supposed to be lost in the bush see letter from Bench Invermein dated 10 February 1836. (Three convicts by this name by this ship)
