Lieut. Fraser and the detachment under his command having been relieved by the soldiers of the 99th regt., embarked on Wenesday last on board the steamer Maitland, for head quarters. We regret the absence of Liut. Fraser, who was much respected by the inhabitants, although his duties required an officer of quite a different temper.
