Details: In 1846 the Blackheath Stockade was in the charge of the famous Captain Bull who a few months previously left his name to a cleared space between Linden and Woodford, still known as 'Bull's Camp'. The Stockade originally stood on the site of the schoolhouse. Several sets of leg irons were discovered when the foundations of the school were laid
