Henry Eckford held the
license for
the Wool Team Inn in 1848.33
Joseph Risby was granted a license in April 1849. This was possibly the
Joseph Risby who was born in Hobart or Norfolk Island and was assigned
to Alexander McLeod in 1828 and granted a ticket of leave for Wallis
Plains in 1829.
The License for the Wool Team Inn was transferred to
William Drew in 1850 and Risby opened the Rose Shamrock and Thistle
at the Falls, West Maitland.
